Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and organising, managing and executing the full strategy for the cruise challenge roadshows.  You will have strong negotiation skills and be experienced in managing relationships as well as building new contacts. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a sales pipeline, acquiring new partners and advertisers, and retaining existing clients.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales, a creative and innovative mindset and a positive attitude. Previous experience in a sales environment, plus knowledge and experience in the travel industry is essential.  Understanding the cruise and tourist board sectors would be advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell/Rebook sponsorships across our Cruise Challenge Roadshows
  • Attend Cruise Challenges - nationwide
  • Organise the cruise challenge venues, food and drink allowances, sponsor and room setup and general logistics
  • Onboard delegates into the different cruise challenges cities
  • Help sell sponsorships into the trade events
  • Build strong working relationships with cruise clients by visiting them regularly and keeping in contact.
  • Help build digital and content strategies across Cruise Trade News platforms including the new training hub
