Both events were co-located at the reknowned exhibition venue of the World Trade Center in Dubai and the event took place over two days. More than 5,000 trade visitors travelled to the event to interact with the 330 exhibitors and to attend the IFEC seminars taking place on the show floor.
It was a great opportunity for our team to meet with key contacts in the Middle East, including MRO service provider Sanad Aerotech from the UAE, the leading MRO in Saudi Arabia, Saudia Aeropsace Engineering Industries (SAEI), French flooring manufacturer Gerflor and German aircraft cabin electronics supplier KID-Systeme, among others.
News from the show was reported on through our Aviation Business News website and our fortnightly MRO and Cabin newsletter, ensuring subscribers were kept up-to-date on the latest news from the Middle East.
“MRO Middle East and AIME are among the most prestigious events in the Middle East and it was a great opportunity for us to meet current and potential clients within the MRO and Cabin sectors. We also had the opportunity to gain insightful feedback on our new magazine branding and redesign, which has been invaluable,” says Real Response Media CEO Chris Pitchford.
MRO Management editor Ian Harbison added: “It was very apparent from the shows that the aircraft interiors and MRO sectors are still booming in the Middle East, driven by both the big Middle Eastern airlines and smaller airlines in the region. Speaking with exhibitors and learning about their latest products and services was informative and fantastic for solidifying relationships we have built over the last 20 years.”
