Real Response Media (RRM) is pleased to announce two significant internal promotions within its Aviation Division, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued growth and commitment to operational excellence.
Appointment of Lee Hayhurst as RRM’s Chief Operating Officer – Aviation Division
Lee Hayhurst has been promoted to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). This appointment recognises Lee’s outstanding contribution since joining RRM as Publishing Director in 2023 where he has spearheaded the redevelopment of the Aviation Division’s output, both online and in physical media.
As COO, Lee will oversee operational functions across the business, ensure alignment of teams and processes, and play a pivotal role in driving strategic development and organisational efficiency. This will include the development of live events such as the Predictive Aircraft Maintenance conference, the expansion of Division’s new VideoCast series of airline executive interviews, and the continued development of RRM’s aviation business media.
Commenting on his new role, Lee Hayhurst said: “Over the last two years, Aviation Business News has seen considerable growth in both our print and digital channels, and our fast-growing events portfolio. That’s testament to the commitment and hard work of everyone on the team and we’re confident that the foundations are in place to accelerate growth in 2026″.
“I’m very excited to have the privilege of delivering on our vision of becoming a trusted media brand for an aviation sector that is facing a technological revolution every bit as significant as when the invention of the jet engine brought flying to the masses.”
Appointment of Toby Walton as RRM’s Publisher – Aviation Division
Toby has been promoted to Publisher, taking on broader responsibility for commercial performance, strategic partnerships, and the overall development of RRM’s publishing portfolio within the Aviation Division.
Previously non-exec Commercial Director, Toby has said that he has been looking forward to taking a more ‘hands on’ role within the company. Toby’s role will be ensuring that the Division’s products continue to reach the right audiences.
Toby Walton said, “I am delighted to be part of the continued success and growth of Real Response Media. I look forward to driving the Aviation Division forward by taking on extra responsibilities in our print, digital and events portfolios as Publisher.”
Chris Pitchford, Founder and CEO of Real Response Media commented:
“We are delighted to recognise Lee and Toby for their exceptional work and dedication. Their new roles will enhance our leadership team and help us deliver even greater value to our partners and audiences.”
Both appointments will take effect on January 1, 2026.
