Real Response Media (RRM) has announced the promotion of Nathan Emtage to senior commercial manager – cruise.
Nathan joined Real Response Media as commercial manager – cruise in November 2023 to spearhead the growth of The Cruise Challenge, a series of nationwide travel agent training and engagement events fusing education and entertainment.
Alongside his work on The Cruise Challenge, Nathan has also been key in building brand awareness and recognition for Real Response Media’s B2B publication, Cruise Trade News.
Chief Operating Officer, Lina Slater, said: “It’s been great to have Nathan join the team with his knowledge of both cruise lines and agents.
“His promotion is well-deserved recognition for his hard work and success. He has been instrumental in developing The Cruise Challenge, and the print and digital offerings for Cruise Trade News. I look forward to seeing what he can achieve in 2025.”
Nathan said: “I have had an amazing first year here at Real Response Media. From fun on the road, visiting agents with The Cruise Challenge, to developing our commercial relationships across the cruise industry I have loved getting stuck into it all!
“Having worked for cruise lines, both on land and at sea, as well as many years on the travel-agent side, I have loved bringing my experience to the world of media. We have a fantastic team and with the cruise industry booming, I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store.”
Before joining Real Response Media, Nathan was a senior product manager at Cruise 1st, managing key cruise line accounts. He has experience leading sales centre teams at Seabourn and Holland America Line and previously worked on board ships with Princess Cruises.
